Pothole Repair Requests
1. How can I report a pothole?
You can report potholes using the Town’s Q-Alert system, which allows residents to submit service requests directly to the operations team. Simply provide the location and a brief description of the issue.
2. What information should I include in my request?
Please include:
The street name and nearest address or landmark
A description of the pothole (e.g., size, depth, whether the base is visible)
Any photos, if available, to help assess the severity
3. What happens after I submit a request?
Once submitted through Q-Alert, the request is reviewed by the operations team. A site inspection may be conducted, and the issue is logged for follow-up and repair based on operational priorities.
4. How are pothole repairs prioritized?
Repairs are prioritized based on factors such as safety risk, traffic volume, and severity of the damage. High-risk locations are addressed as soon as possible, while others are scheduled as resources allow.
5. Can I track the status of my request?
Yes. If you submitted your request through Q-Alert, you can log in to view updates and track progress.
6. When will the pothole be repaired?
While we aim to address all requests in a timely manner, we do not provide specific timeframes for repairs. Timing depends on weather conditions, available resources, and the overall volume of requests
